Really great BnB! Me and my lady stayed here while passing through Ennis and loved our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and had cool local stories to tell. Their home is like w mini museum of Montana style decour. Beatiful bedroom we stayed in was stocked with more helpful toiletries then any hotel or bnb we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Also if you are a fisherman there is amazing river fishing within 1 mile. I woke up early and snuck in a couple hours on the river and caught beautiful brown and rainbow trout all morning up to about 18". Nice mature fish on the fly. Great spot I highly recommend it!
Bob and Leigh were wonderful hosts, the house was very clean, rooms charming and with great views of the mountains. My breakfast was fit for a Queen. Please give them a try the next time your are near Ennis, you will not be disappointed.
We will always remember this place and plan to visit again. Next time we may stay in one of their "glamping" tents. They are reasonably priced and very luxurious. There are spectacular mountain views. Also, in the morning they serve family style tea and breakfast so you can mingle with the other guests.
The Jeffers Inn is a spectacular surprise in such a beautiful but “out-of-the-way” location. Leigh and Robert are wonderfully friendly hosts and their home is so historically interesting and comfortable, a truly unique experience. Leigh’s breakfasts are so very good and beautifully presented in a memorable dining room. We give it our highest recommendation without reservation.

My girlfriend and I are from the Seattle area and have had great experiences both times we stayed at the Jeffers Inn. We have stayed in both the Maiden Moon and the Crystal Palace suites, and we could not have been happier with the quality of the rooms. Leigh and Bob are exceptional hosts, extremely knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful part of the country and some of the friendliest people you can meet. The breakfast is delicious, Leigh knows how to make a great meal to start the day! The scenery of the surrounding countryside is also incredible, the sunrises and sunsets are some of the most stunning I have seen in my life.
The combination of exceptional service, great accommodations, and the amazing atmosphere of the Madison valley make the Jeffers Inn a truly great place to stay if you are in the Ennis area. I know that we will be returning in the years to come!
Thank you to everyone at Jeffer's Inn for making our wedding night wonderful! My husband and I were unsure where outside of Yellowstone to spend our wedding night. We could not have found a more hospitable place. The inn is like a step back in time, and it maintains an enduring elegance. We stayed in the master suite. It was complete with a huge jacuzzi bath with nearly a hundred lit candles when we arrived. It was nice to step into a romantic, relaxing environment after such a busy few months. They even had a silver tray waiting with lemonade, shrimp cocktails, fresh fruit and cheese cake. This was so thoughtful since we hadn't had time to eat much during the reception. The room was done to the nines.
